English: I am a senior postdoctoral researcher in the research area of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information at Atominstitut (TU Wien). Originally from Italy, I did my undergraduate studies in Pisa, finishing with a master thesis on entanglement in many-body systems which I did in Barcelona under the supervision of Jose’ Ignacio Latorre and Pasquale Calabrese locally in Pisa. I then moved to Bilbao to do my PhD in the group of Géza Tóth, with whom I worked mostly on entanglement witnesses in cold gases, connected with spin squeezing. Since then I broadened my interests, but still focus on entanglement theory in many-body physics, together with more foundational aspects of quantum theory and thermodynamics. Currently I am the leader of two FWF Stand-Alone projects connected with the topics mentioned above, which allowed me to build a small team of collaborators.
Research Interests: Foundations of Quantum Physics, Quantum Optics, Quantum Information and its interplay with Many-Body Physics, Entanglement theory, Temporal quantum correlations, Quantum thermodynamics, Quantum metrology
