Roman Solař
English: I am a PhD student employed at Quantum Technology Laboratories (qtlabs). My background is from Masaryk University located in Brno, Czechia. There, I received my BSc in Physics, BSc in Mathematical Computer Science, and MSc in Theoretical Computer Science with a specialization in Quantum Computational Models. In my thesis, I explored which quantum measurements yield the best minimum entanglement certification in finite-dimensional Hilbert spaces.
My theoretical interests lie in both Classical Information Theory and Quantum Information Theory. I have only recently joined the group, but my plan is to work in QKD (Quantum Key Distribution) postprocessing, which is also the main focus of my work at qtlabs.
